Dr C.D Panda is a pioneer in the field of Engineering Education and Technical learning. He has established a number of leading institutions of Engineering spanning the length and breadth of Odisha and even outside Odisha. He started with his foray into the setting up an Engineering institute at Gunupur, in 1997.

He is reckoned with a sense of pride as an astute organizer, an astute dedicated social worker, a dynamic visionary with a commitment to the cause of the common man. He has marched ahead in establishing a range of institutes in Engineering, polytechnic, dentistry etc. being a professor in economics with M-phil and PhD. to his credit, his sense of planning and execution being nothing less than perfect.

Prof.(Dr.)Surendra Nath Jena

Dr. Surendra Nath Jena has completed successfully his M.Sc degree in physics in the year 1972 securing first position in first class from Regional Engineering College, Rourkela and was awarded gold medal by Sambalpur University. He has served as lecturer in physics in various degree colleges of orissa from 1973 to 1987 and has worked as Teacher Fellow in the Department of physics, Utkal University from 1978 to 1981 under the faculty improvement program of U.G.C., New Delhi. he did his M.phil degree in physics in utkal university in the year 1979. He has received his Doctorate degree from utkal university in the year 1987.
He became reader in 1989 and professor in 1999.He has more than 35 years of teaching and research experience.He has retired from Berhampur University as a professor of physics in the year 2008. He has published over 60 research papers in reputed international journals of physics like Physical Review, Physics Letters, International journals of Morden Physics and Pramana etc.He has attended several national and international seminars,symposiums and workshops etc.he has also attended an international conference at L.C.T.P.,Trieste,Italy in the year 1991.
